Does Putting The Lid Down on the Tibook Stop Radio And Not In A Good Way? OK, so that last post (and maybe some other related flubby-around) triggered something and Radio started upstreaming my entire site. Which is pretty strange, but at least better than not posting at all, I guess. I hit the refresh on the Events page every so often and Radio was chugging away with it's 20 or so pages Upstreamed at a time. But I think I screwed something up by closing the lid on the TIbook. That seems to put things into an 'instant sleep' mode, or something like that. When I didn't hear the harddrive being accessed to read the next set of files for upstreaming, I figured closing it did something not too good. So I lifted the lid and refreshed the Events page. Yep. Here's the New error message to deal with...
"Can't upstream because "Can't write stream because TCP/IP error code -3155 - Call issued in wrong state." And there hasn't been a new batch try to post since. So I'm hoping this post breaks the logjam (and fearing that it restarts the full site upstream again)...
And I'm having fun actually writing and believing I'm close to posting. Just got to get this home page to update... |

Day 3 of The Quest For Radio Userland Posting From the G4 Trying to hunt down the current problems with moving my Radio Userland weblog from my Windows machine to the G4 Tibook. The data looked to move nicely and the News Aggregator seemst to be working. But I have yet to publish a post. Here's one strange thing in my Events page:
"Can't convert name because TCP/IP error code -3170 - Host not found (DNS error)."
I've tried to run the file name change script, which I think works on the Radio Root (anything else?), but I think the Radio.root file already had all the correct file paths since it's from the G4 install and the instructions did not say to move Radio.root from the other machine. It has to be changing something else. And I know I need to change some file paths in ActiveRenderer and/or LiveTopics, but that's kind of not that important right now. I need to post. |
