"Michaela Patisteas took her Blue Wiggle to the altar on Saturday when she married entertainment star Anthony Field.

Field, who has enthralled children across the world as the Blue Wiggle, swapped his trademark skivvy for an authentic Mexican wedding suit."

First things...New word...or at least new meaning...."Skivvy". I don't think it means underwear down under there.

Next, great to hear those Wiggles are up to good things. Little M's a Wiggle-generation grrrl. Except she really doesn't get up and dance like those wiggle-extras do on the show. I've got to teach her to point her fingers and wave 'em a little bit.

"Throughout the ceremony, a traditional Catholic service lasting for more than an hour, Field's love of quirky humour and music was evident.

His niece Clare Field, in a traditional Celtic dress, led the bridal party. She performed a spritely River Dance down the aisle in front of the bridesmaids and Miss Patisteas, 31, who hails from Melbourne.

Other multicultural influences during the service included Greek hymns, Spanish guitars and Field's unusual Mexican mariachi suit.

The other Wiggles joined the musical celebration during the service. Both Cook and Fatt played instruments during the ceremony.

An all-male choir, featuring Mexican singers Fernando Moguel and Fernandito Jorge Moguel, who were flown in from Mexico for the wedding, sang a moving version of the traditional hymn Ave Maria."

I'll bet they did some serious "shaking" (which I swear is really "shagging" on the show) at the reception!
