When it's implemented on the Userland server hosting my comments, it will speed up response time for those who comment on a story and would like me to see it or respond to a question. You're comment will get pushed to me instead of me having to pull it from looking at the site or the comment server. The same thing needs to happen when someone links to the site...those TrackBack things you see there.

And I'll just take a little credit for getting the new movement on this feature with my plea for something a little better than Dave's totally low tech and totally appropriate for his needs solution ("I hit the refresh button") to seeing updated blog comments. No need to thank me too loudly!!
