We've been house bound for 3 days now, stuck on the outskirts of San Diego fire country, covered like a blanket in smoke. We witnessed the flames coming over the ridge between Tierrasanta and Mission Gorge...that's how close it came to us. Miles away in comparison to lots of our fellow SDers...

The flames are the glowing spot near the center left of the picture. I should post a bigger shot of this.

We're venturing out today to see if our lungs can take it and what the rest of the world looks like. Back soon...(yeah..like how long it's taken between posts..)
