J-Notes James on Shirley and Roy - The MP3

James from http://J-Notes.com finally gets our interview from last September posted up on the site. Thanks for sharing your love and insight on Shirley Horn and Roy Hargrove with us James. Hope to do more with you in the future.

Click on the little forward thingy to start it

    MP3 6.8MB

Let's hope this test of an embedded player goes better than previous efforts!

Later...interface is what I desired (yea!), but it shouldn't download the entire thing unless you start playing it. Not good for any folks, especially those on dial-up. If you experience other problems or have suggestions, please use the Comment[] below to share the New!

Doc Clocks In On The New RSS Enclosure Thing

Doc points over to The Bob Gibb Memorial Weblog, giving a little push to the RSS Enclosure gospel that Adam Curry and Dave Winer have been pioneering for awhile now. While I've been posting MP3's for awhile of Jazz interviews, I'm just starting to find some convergence for streaming and download media and RSS Enclosures are just one place I'm going. And a link from Doc always helps.

Bill (Pop) and Aubrey (Grandpop) thank you for the surname props!

I'm also trying some other Things with tunes from the radio show(imagine enclosures, streams, purchase options, links, ...) and some news today regarding Link sharing (aren't we already doing this?) to replace file sharing is something to pursue...

"The group on Wednesday issued an initial set of technology specifications in a bid to create a system in which users would share customized Internet links, called "content references," instead of swapping song or film files directly."
