In the late 1980’s or early 1990’s, I recorded the daily Jazz 88 Jazz Calendar which aired on KSDS San Diego. “Barbara Jamerson and 2 Deep” appeared regularly playing gigs around San Diego.

Tonight on the show, Justo Almario will phone in to chat about an upcoming all-star benefit here in August, his upcoming Jazz Live appearance in October, and more! We’ll check out some great tunes featuring this spiritual dude! Here’s the video of the audio portion of the interview…it gets better about 5 minutes into it when I switch from my microphone to the station feed…very fun chatting with Justo…can’t wait to see meet him at Jazz Live in October 2008.
